Some disgraceful posts by 'so-called' Irish fans on the welsh football forum.  Highly Embarrassing.

Yes, there are one or two aggressive Irish posters over there not covering themselves in any glory.

The term 'keyboard warrior' was invented for a reason. Always embarrassing that rather than celebrating victory, these types prefer to find other fans and gloat, usually saying things they would never say in public.

Aye, World Cup will be poorer without the Welsh fans there. Any we met at the Euros were gents as well. They'll be back for Euro2020 and sure they could even end up playing a game in Dublin.

A lot of Engerland fans throwing the boot in on the FA Wales Thread. Very pathetic.Little do they know, the Russians are secretly training to literally throw the "boot in" on them. A funny ol world we live in.

It seems the English fans are still seething over that video that surfaced last year of the Welsh team celebrating England's loss to Iceland.

In fairness there's a lot of fools on that thread saying that they are Irish and abusing the Welsh. A bit of banter is ok but some of the sh*te being posted is cringeworthy

Sad times over on Apostle. Threads about English cricketer Michael Vaughan dissing them about going out of the world cup and which of them will or will not go to Qatar if they qualify.

Hopefully that won't be us next month.Big smile

True some of the wumming is over the top, but I think some of it they kind of asked for with their cockiness before the game.

**not condoning unnecessary abuse**

55 countries were involved in European qualification games.
We scored 12 goals in 10 qualifying games.
31 of the 55 countries scored more than 12 (plus 2 others also scored exactly 12).

However we only conceded 6 goals in 10 qualifying games.
Only 5 other countries conceded less than 6 goals.
Another 5 countries also conceded exactly 6 goals.

So 44 countries conceded more goals than we did.

Where did it all go wrong..... Why didnt we top this group after the fantastic start.

Some people will say if we drew with Serbia we would have topped the group.
But for me the momentum was lost with the 0-0 with Wales.

When Taylor got sent off after 70 mins we had 20+ mins to win that game against 10 men with the home crowd going ballistic.
We needed to show intent and send on another striker/forward player immediately. I believe if we won that game we would have gone on to win the group.

We lost all momentum after that game.
