Brazil will win the World Cup comfortably I think. It's taken a couple of games to get going, Countinhio was deployed in a better role against Costa Rica, Neymar is nearing sharpness and he will have reached that for the knock out games. Douglas Costa and Firminio into the starting 11 is probably likely for the game against Serbia. Germany possibly lurking in the last 16 though

Neymar top scorer at 25/1 (35 on Betfair) is very tempting, no harm in hedging it with a bit on Kane or Lukaku

He doesn't look right at all to me. If you map out how the knockout bracket is shaping up, there's definitely value in make it to SF or make it to final bets if ya fancy a dark horse.

Top half is very stacked, likely France, Brazil, Germany, Belgium, Portugal (and Argentina if they make it).

Bottom half has Spain as the big name (although they may end up in the other side if Portugal outscore them tonight). Apart from Spain you have Colombia, England, Croatia battling out for the finals.

You could have a novel last 4 of:
France
Belgium (having beat Brazil/Germany in QF's)
Croatia (having beat Spain in QF's)
Colombia (having beat England/Mexico in route).

Looking forward to the KO stages. Bets on 90 mins draws seem to come up with decent regularity in finals tournaments. Ignore the obvious one-sided looking affairs for draws and instead double them with single wins with a draw.

The draw typically pays about 3:1 and if you can get evens or so on a decent favourite it will equate to an appx 7:1 double.
In the 2014 WC there were 8 draws from the 16 KO ties, although that year was exceptional.

Gone over 2.5 goals in the Australia/Peru game, Peru have done everything bar put the ball in the net, should be an open game with Australia needing a win who also carry a decent goal threat

Tempted by no goals in the Australia-Peru game, both teams struggle to score. Just shy of evens for both teams not to score too.

Will do a France/Croatia double too.

Have a feeling of a copy/paste of Ecuador where Messi single handedly carries the team with a hat-trick.

9/1

My bigger bets are on Brazil wins, got stung on the Swiss game, went heavier on the Costa Rica gameShocked Approve will follow up with them beating Serbia, half time full time Brazil is 13/10. Have a good feeling this is the game where Brazil will properly click and win handily 4-1 Big smile

Will do a France/Croatia double too.

There hasn't been a 0-0 yet. 27 games in and the previous record set in 1954 already beaten.

It's due...
