I don’t watch it so know little about any of the players now, but the last EPL game I watched was at Vicarage Road and I enjoyed it. It didn’t seems as plastic as some EPL clubs, although it was teetering, and had a lingering sense of still being a football club, which is more than the majority of clubs in the league.
I think it would be a more interesting league if it kept teams with some semblance of an identity like Watford, or more pertinently the likes of Sheffield United and Burnley. In reality that ship has long sailed, which is why whenever I try and watch MOTD I last about ten minutes before getting depressed and switching off.

The owners just keep rolling the dice, sack sack sack is the only way they can see that they can get the bounce that they need to stay up .
I don't see see it you need to build but the new manager will not be given that time or space , i cant see the next guy lasting to the end of the season no matter who it is .

Their sack and sack policy has worked very well but it was never going to last too long

Looks like the club sided with Troy Deeney after a bust-up between the two. Deeney strikes me as a malignant presence in the same vein as Joey Barton. |

I would've thought the similarities are remarkable. Both would likely be in prison if they weren't footballers. Both have a tendency to micromanage and undermine managers. Both are extremely opinionated and radiate strong presences that lead to personality clashes with authority figures.
