What time do you arrive inot Birmingham at?

12.10, but the flight from shannon is late the majority of the time, so would be hoping to leave in and around 1.00 but would be flexible if someone wanted to share.

Most of the bars are around the St.Marys Street area. None of them large enough to host all 4000+ Irish fans.

No. There's a club on the site of the old Dubliner now.

Booked on Cathedral road myself, only a few minutes walk away from Mary Street so it's fairly central.

Have a free night in Jury's because the heating wasn't working when the hubby and I stayed there over New Year. Will be friends of ours using it because we've to go back to London for work after the game.

Cathedral Road is bang on, could be 10-20 mins walk into town depending on what part of the road you're on. Aim for the Millenium Stadium and you'll end up on Westgate St, which is also full of bars and runs parallel to St. Marys.

Just off Cathedral Road is Y Mochyn Du. It's a really nice, traditional pub and the closest you'll get to a "Welsh" pub. Would recommend it for a bite to eat if you're looking to get something before hitting the town.

Still good deals on fly & train options. Dub - Birmingham arriving at 11.40 on Sunday and train down. €95 total & premier Inn doing two nights for £198 for a double. Just booked now.

Still to decided on the return journey, the €35 flight to mallorca is just too tempting Cool
