You know you are struggling as a team when you get these sh*tty brands making your kits. Like when a team gets relegated and they go from Adidas to Joma.

I assume the appointment of a liquidator is the nail on the coffin for JACC's attempt top block the contract cancellation?

Castore is a disastrous announcement. High priced, low quality gear that might last you 12 months. It’s similar to Everlast or Lonsdale gear only it’s 5 times the price. Really poor decision to go with them, but as others mentioned money talks. The shirts they’ll produce won’t be big sellers.

As mentioned here there's a few quid in it for the FAI, hopefully the quality of their merchandise will have improved by the time it reaches us due to the bad PR it has been receiving in the past few months but it's also overpriced which will result in poor sales but the FAI won't care as they will have got their money Also something that alarms me more is the rebranding of the FAI you almost guarantee that any new logo will be something that has been drawn up by a two year old blindfolded and with no consultation with fans.

I think the Castore stuff looks fairly nice. But the issues seem to be around quality/supply, hopefully not a disaster. Although if Circle K are going to be plastered on the front they will have their hands full trying to make that look decent.

This is exactly my thoughts, I think they make beautiful looking kits for example the black away kit Newcastle wore last year (lovingly known as the unknown pleasures kit) was one of the best kit in a long tÃme.

Happy enough with this. Money in the FAI's coffers but more importantly anything is better than the rubbish Mr. Courtenay was producing and how he was running his business. There is a lot of good people unemployed and other businesses in trouble due to his actions. Good riddance
