The station screens callers, anyone who can count to ten is immediately dismissed. It is the news equivalent of Talksport . The only time you ever see of it is when some idiot caller says something stupid and they make it go viral, or one of the ****s who presents on there, like Hopkins or Farage, says something provocative.

As the present ROI manager might say "chuffin nora !!" With the huge budget cuts they've had to make to the UK armed forces over the last ten years (think the RN only has about 20 sea going ships and submarines at present) and recruitment slacking off, they'd struggle to invade Legoland Windsor. There was a cracking "voxpop" taken just after the referendum of some crazy septuagenarian brexit supporter living on the Costa Del Sol who insisted she wasn't "a foreigner" because she "was English". Extension agreed to 22nd May if Tessie gets her deal passed by the HOC. If not the extension if only until 12th April at which stage there's seems to be the possibility of a (much) longer extension on the proviso Britain takes part the Euro elections

ultimately it's good for uk politics. one of the biggest problems here is that the government has in effect been run by 2 parties over the course of the last 100 years, usually in majority governments. If the vote was split several ways and you had more coalition style politics you wouldn't have the had the nightmare of brexit. both lab and tories have imploding by moving too far left/ right.
