I've watched some Millwall games and they remind me of Ireland.
Very little invention at all with no creative force. They can get results (draws mainly) by force but every goal looks like a lot of work. Only silver living is McNamara coming in and looking very comfortable at this level.

I'm sure that Aaron Drinan will be delighted to see Troy Parrott rocking up to Ipswich.

Seems like Spurs have made the decision to drop him down a level. Makes sense.

He was very badly advised with that video when he moved to Millwall.

Drinan would be better off dropping down a division himself.

He was the golden boy in fairness. Had things turned out differently it would have seemed totally justified. Maybe it's a good thing for Troy that the hype machine has died down. Although going to Ipswich doesn't exactly seem like he's walking into another team that's going to create oodles of chances for him.

Agreed that the hype was getting silly.
He needs to learn that chances in games are few and far between. There is no team in the top three leagues in England that create a lot of chances. Salah doesn't score 20+ goals because Liverpool put them on a plate for him. He works very hard and has incredible ability. Parrott will be required to create his own chances too.

Alan Judge in the team should help him. Mark McGuinness and Drinan there too of course.

disappointing that he couldn’t do better with Millwall no goal is very poor for a striker.
But hopefully he can get amongst the goals and help with his confidence. It really is a worrying time for the National team

The Boreham Wood full back in the FA cup match had the legs on him which was not a good sign.

Joins Scully (doing very well) and Cassidy (not doing well) in L1.
One wonders if he gets a few goals, will he be in the senior squad in March and if so, why would he be in ahead of Scully? I'm not advocating either of them get in. Both U21s for me for now.
