Just because you're not capable of criticising an Irish player, doesn't mean he should be considered. He's been done for years, not good enough

No need for that response.

Absolutely nothing wrong with O'Shea's post that if any other poster made it, you wouldn't take issue with it.

It's not entirely implausible that Brady at only 32 could find a way back as it is a problem position for us.

I'm not having a proper go, the levels of delusion on here are mental. Brady has been finished for years, simple as. He should be nowhere near our squad. Let's bring Jazzy Jeff while we're at it

You overreacted to a totally reasonable post because of who the poster was. No reason why Robbie couldn't potentially play his way back in given his relatively young age and experience.

Brady is made of glass and at 32 is winding down. It's a major case of what if because he has serious amounts of talent but has been plagued by injury and loss of form throughout his career. We have to move on. Yeah maybe I overreacted but that poster has been consistently unable to criticise any Irish player for years. How can anyone defend Collins after Saturday, he's our modern Paul McShane, an absolute bombscare of a defender.

Coming from the Paul McShane of posting LOL

You're a grown man who regularly argues with people on a football forum, it's embarrassing LOL

Pot, meet kettle. I'll leave it there before you embarrass yourself further Thumbs Up

Don't worry, you've been doing that for years on here Clap

As the post above states, leave it be. Brady is finished with Ireland

32 is not relatively young though.

He could maybe play LCM is a midfield three if the new manager opted for 4-3-3 or 3-5-2, but I wouldn't want to see him play at LWB.

We really need Hodge to develop in 2024. We're in dire need of more DM/CM options. We have lots of players suited to a #10 role. Knight, Moran, Szmodics, Azaz. Even Smallbone.

Cullen and Molumby are both out of favour at club level.

Cullen is out of favour. Molumby is injured.

Molumby has only started 12 of the 25 games he's played in. He's not 1st choice.

What the f*ck does that even mean ?LOL There's nothing to be critical or complimentary of, it's a simple statement of fact - if we have someone playing well as a LWB at a high level, then obviously they should be considered for that position with Ireland. I apologise if that's a bit too advanced for you to wrap your head around Embarrassed

You have previous, our fans are so deluded. Take off the green tinted glasses for once. Collins is an absolute bomb scare and we have no capable midfielders. F**k all of our players are in actual good form. Ferguson's form is very concerning but hey let's link him with a £150m transfer to Chelsea

I honestly have no f*cking clue what you're on about, you're just ranting. I've never once linked Ferguson with any move, least of all f*cking Chelsea for 150 million LOLLOL Have a glass of water and sit yourself down, but don't take your bad day out on me unless you've got something useful to say Thumbs Up

I'm having a great day, thanks. You do make me laugh, defending every Irish player to the hilt. We're at rock bottom and our team is awful, I could count on one hand how many of our players are doing well this season. Rant over anyway, I'll blame the hangover for this one

Nice one, sounds like you shouldn't bother following us, clearly it brings you no enjoyment or hope Embarrassed

I live on Hope Avenue and am one of the most hopeful Ireland fans. Just being realistic. I go to all home games and 1 or 2 aways a year. I love following my country but we are at the lowest ebb. The delusions of our fans doesn't help matters

They certainly don't - the delusion that every player is having the worst game ever every week, is responsible for every goal conceded, and is just getting lucky if they manage to score a goal, is absolutely no help to anyone.

He's just gone 32, if he can find a run of form there's no reason he wouldn't be considered for what is a problem position. Small country's limiting their own selection pool arbitrarily is never a good idea.

Just because you're not capable of criticising an Irish player, doesn't mean he should be considered. He's been done for years, not good enough

Has only started 8 games this season. Only started about 25 games since he last played for Ireland 18 months ago (Sept 2022).

We certainly can't plan a campaign around him being 1 of 2 main choices at LB/LWB.

It's essential we blood a couple of the young LBs this year.

Absolutely, still has a great left peg on him and would be a great squad player IF he stays fit and IF he can keep up form, just not as a LB/LWB. Hasnt the legs or positional sense for it, at least McClean for all his faults had his athleticism that helped him recover in that position.

Would have no problem throwing Robbie on for final 10/15/20 minutes left or right of a 3 where we're chasing and we need one good cross.
His free taking was very poor for us, and that was his only attribute.

Goal and assist against Armenia last time he got a run out for us.

Hes sure better than Cullen on free kicks and corners who has been taking them for the most part in recent months.
