I am confident enough to predict that Idles Saturday week will be close enough  to the list.

Saw idles in iveagh during the summer sober, that will never happen again. Unreal gig and definitely one of the best, great venue. Seeing Joe Talbot V ASIWYFA DJ set in belfast in 2 weeks. Fontaines next summer back in iveagh should be deadly.

The Point seems like a very big venue for Paul Heaton. The gig at Trinity College was sold out, or thereabouts, but that's about 5,000 people.

Even a reduced capacity Point Depot holds about 8,000. That's even before we look at the people from outside of Dublin who will go to the gigs in other counties.

2 great gigs that spring to mind were in the big top in the Phoenix park, when they were doing up the point. Acrade fire and Ian Brown. Other than those gigs, the boss man in Nowlan park.
