i did that.. but with it all being in a bigger bowl, everything just moved anyway. I basically had to hold the food in the bowl whilei used the fork.
Did you leave a daming review of your experience on tripadvisor?

Irish weather. I’m full on sick of it at this stage. End April and I’ve a track top and scarf under me leather jacket.

Pox. Gimme some sunny weather before I cry. Gotta get Mrs Fw on the holiday sites.

There is no civility on the roads anymore.

Headwrecker. Can only ever understand the "novelty" of it, if it does lend itself to at least an equal efficient way to eat. Not to make a Crystal Maze puzzle out of your dinner.

I'd have a bigger problem with the fact that most if not all pubs use frozen chips instead of the real thing. I would gladly have chips in a bowl if they were freshly made!
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Amen to this. Went for a meal last weekend, for dessert ordered cheesecake. It came out in a fecking jam jar. What was the point. My missus thought it was class but I just thought it was ridiculous. Maybe it's a man thing.

Far easier to make in a jam jar and it ensures portions are consistent sizes. It makes presentation a lot easier too.

It also means they don't have to make it 100% correct in order for it to set properly like they would in a cake

At the end of the day, all the grub is going from one dispenser down your gob and into your stomach, does it really matter if it comes on a plate/slate/bowl/potty/jar/jug?

in my case, trying to stick a fork in a chip in the bowl led to the chips spilling out into the bigger bowl which the chip bowl was in beside the burger. Then i just emptied the jockeys from the small bowl into the big bowl. This only exaserbated the problem however as now the chips and side salad where bowl surfing. Such was the disharmony taking place, the burger got fed up and got in on the act too. Just give me a fooking plate for the love of god.
