A climate protester was arrested on a flight today from London to Dublin.
The plane had to return to London.
As planes cannot land full of fuel, I presume the pilot had to dump fuel or burn off fuel before they landed.
Now maybe as it was only a short flight they didn’t have to dump or burn off fuel.
But the plane would probably have to be refueled before taking off again for Dublin.
So this climate protester actually increased the carbon footprint of this journey for all the other passengers and crew.
His actions today were worse for the environment than if he had done nothing.

who says you cant land a plane full of fuel?   Doubt that's true.  If there is a crash then you are fooked and a half tank is hardly much better than a full tank surely.
