Twas soft enough like. Salah-esque.
Probably just a penalty. Anderson makes it easy for the ref by looking at him guiltily straight away.

Bernardo is a wonderful footballer, but I agree about him being on the wing. Sometimes he beats a man a couple of times with a dummy and then doesn't really go anywhere with it, just passes it back to the full back. He'll continue to play wide though while Silva and De Bruyne are around I think.

New kit deal signed with Puma, £65m per year, second biggest kit deal in the PL after United's £75m per year with Adidas

City's last deal with Nike was for £20m per year just

Covers NY City, Girona, Melbourne etc as well, not that they'd account for too much of the £65m

A good three points but a bit lacklustre. Genuinely believe that Liverpool should be the bookies favourites

Stones and Jesus back in contention for Bournemouth away tomorrow.
Fernandinho and Laporte will be back after the international break at the end of the month.

De Bruyne injured again today, hamstring they reckon

City had 43 shots on goal in the two games this week, the opposition had 2 shots in total, and both games finished 1-0

Mahrez has come in for some flak but that’s another important goal from him today. He also got the winner away to Spurs.
Almost makes up for that penalty miss at Anfield!

Was watching the game and as he was walking off you could see him say to a few of the players that it was his hamstring. What's more worrying from a City perspective is that the movement that caused it wasn't exactly explosive. It seemed to happen as he was positioning himself to play the pass. Possible that he could miss the majority of the remaining games if that's the condition he is in.

If De Bruyne is out for a month or so, his season is effectively a write off imo. He has never got a rhythm going in his season at all and any decent length lay off now will kill his season totally I reckon.

They really should have wrapped him in cotton wool when he had his first injury setback this season imo. He is way too important to not have at full tilt come the April/May fixtures.
"I called him an embarrassment to FIFA and to himself," .... He said 'No-one speaks to me like that'.... and I said, "well I do' and that was that."

De Bruyne injury could be a blessing, gets Bernardo Silva back in the middle as he has looked far better then De Bruyne.

As good as Bernardo Silva has been for them, there's no situation where a fit De Bruyne playing well isn't a massive plus for City. Especially when you're at the run in all competitions. From April on it's CL QF, FA Cup SF and last 7/8 league games. You need all your big guns to be fit and firing come then.

There was undoubtedly a bit of bad luck when De Bruyne came back from his first injury in October/November. Bit of a random injury late in the game. Since then though have they over used De Bruyne a bit? I just think they should have been wrapping him up as much as possible considering what's at stake for them in the next 2 months.

There was a few cup games that KDB and Fernandinho played that were totally unnecessary.

Pep has definitely over played some players this season.

Man City into 4/11 favourites now for the title with the bookies (which is absolutely mental)

I've said it time and time again, even look at the CL betting the bookies are scared sh*tless of Man City.

Absolutely no value to be had with them.

Liverpool out to 9/4. Hans is just waiting for them to hit 3/1 then he's going to pile on.

Zinchenko’s introduction changed this game
Bernardo is now probably City’s best player

Bit of a joke they don’t have VAR here though. Agueros goal was offside, I’m not sure about the penalty though
Not as convinced as Darke and McManaman that it wasn’t a penalty, need to see it again
