And do you believe this?

First question is, why would Pep buy another attacking player?

He doesn't seem to like Iheanacho and Nolito. If they both move on then Sanchez would be a pretty sweet replacement

I believe that he's a city target yes
Don't think he'll be signed within two days though

There is not a team in the league who would not be significantly improved by the addition of Sanchez. If they did land him it would be hard to see anyone keeping up with City next season. Aguero, Jesus, Sané, Sanchez, KDB - scarily good attacking players to select from and fitting the majority of them into a starting 11 would be a lovely headache for Pep to have!

Jesus I forgot about the new Silva - and the old one! LOL An embarrassment of riches. Although not quite in the same league as the others there's Sterling to add into that mix as well. If they get Bertrand and Walker in at the back as well they have to be considered massive favourites for next season.

The word is that they want 4 new full backs. Bertrand AND Mendy. Walker and one more
To replace Zaba, Sagna, Clichy and Kolarov

Keepers: Ederson, Bravo
Defence Walker, right back?,Betrand, Mendy, Kompany, otamendi, stones, Van djik?

midfield :Gundogan, Fernandinho, Yaya, de Bruyne, Silva, Bernado, zinchenko, Fernando, another cm?

Forwards, Sterling, Aguero, G Jesus, Mane, Kelechi, Sanchez?

And Gundogan.
Think Sanchez is superb myself. But there is only so many players you can have in attacking positions. If they buy him, would Aguero be sold??

Aaron Mooy away to Huddersfield for £10m, had been on loan there last season.
Enes Unal signed for Villarreal last week for £12.5m as well.
Both have buy back clauses.

Not bad, £22.5m for two players who've never played a senior game for the club

yep decent business to get them out. not sure how much city paid for unal, but they did pay 7.25m for mooy, so have made a bit of a profit there.

I read elsewhere Man City were covering most of his 45k a week wages while at Huddersfield, so if they paid 7.25 for him they haven't really made anything! Not that it matters.
He is a fine player though.

City signed him on a free transfer from Melbourne city

It's reported today that he will get 35k a week at Huddersfield and be their highest paid player of all time on that, so I very much doubt that he was on 45k of which city were covering it all while on loan there last season!

That is what I remember reading at the time, most Australian news outlets were saying he was getting 4 million Australian Dollars a year, which works out around that. Huddersfield wouldn't have been paying too much of that, I think their wage bill was one of the lowest in the championship.
It wouldn't be a massive surprise if he took a 10k a week basic drop for regular game time at a club he spent a season with, a hefty survival bonus and signing on fee etc. and it would have him breaking even.

I was reading a Huddersfield forum since, about something different and I saw Mooy's name, anyway, it seems he was offered to Wagner by city. They paid f**k all of it, there was also mention of Melbourne getting 6 million but, as it is the same group, I assume that is chicanery to get around the A-League's budget restrictions.
