A truly nasty ****, good riddance. A textbook ignorant, angry, small FAI man.
No thank you Turkish......I'm sweet enough

He’s gone off the board of management.

Please god he’s gone from the Association before the end of the summer. He is the most complicit in the JD era. Poison to Irish football. Some people don’t know when to say their time is up.

Keeping illustrious company.

The changes were presented to staff as a way in which to improve the FAI’s dismal public image.

Owens told staff that the reputations agency Reptrak ranked the FAI as having the worst public image of the 100 organisations they evaluated, with a score of 31.3/100.

The next closest brand is Irish Water, with a score of 40.5.

Any more info on this?

Both of the ODCE v FAI cases are listed for hearing today at 2.30pm before Justice Reynolds.

Disappointed.  I thought you were going to say the hearing was before Justice Shark.  T

So JD gets to inspect a digital device and 13 documents to see if there is any info that is private to him. This is probably a silly question but what happens if he claims that incriminating info in these documents are private? Is it then back to a judge to making a ruling on it?

I have an image of him being handed over these items to inspect and him rapidly trying to stuff it all into his mouth to try and swallow it.

He'd have to claim a privilege over the docs that he doesn't want coming out, the other side can challenge this and the court would rule on a proportionality basis of JDs right to privacy versus the public interest to have these things heard.

Hasn't he tried bogus privilege claims before for the purposes of the bridging loan? I seem to remember him doing this

I read it that if there's a document that's deemed private, only one member of the investigation team can view it. I'm no Matlock though

In a slightly connected way, Emma English's only daughter was killed the other day in a car crash in Navan, that's horrendous for her.  Brutal.
