Think Mulligans is on a corner of a square which will gather a crowd for cans. Unless someone finds another cheap alternative that is.

I have been chatting to a few places and done a bit of research,

L'Elephant dans La Canette

seems to be the cheapest for beer, they do pints of Calanda blonde for 5 €.

Good find - actually €4.50 with today's rate. Erdinger for €6.80 which isn't a whole lot more than you'd pay in Dublin for the same pint

I've train tickets that I don't need anymore (lift sorted):

Oct 14th: €20
Dep: Basel 13:03 (ticket covers departure from Freiburg at 12:12)
Arr: Geneva 15:45

Oct 16th: €30
Dep: Geneva 14:15
Arr: Zurich 16:56

PM if you need either of them.

Ha, similarly my mother found a home section ticket on the floor of the ladies in a Gibraltar pub.

Anyone still looking a route home who doesn't mind a bit of travel on Wednesday:

Geneva 09:15 - 11:18 Olten
Olten 11:32 - 14:24 Mannheim Hbf
Mannheim Hbf 14:36 - 15:06 Frankfurt Airport, total cost of trains €29.90, bahn.com
FRA 17:35 - 18:30 DUB, Ryanair, €17.99

That's less than €50. You're unlikely to do better. You might want to book the 08:15 departure, just in case of delays, but it is still a cheap option to get home.

There's also an option via Barcelona with Easyjet:
GVA 17:00 - 18:25 BCN, Easyjet, 41.39 CHF, ~€38
BCN 21:15 - 23:00 DUB, Ryanair, €21.99

That's just about €60 and quicker (7 hours as opposed to 10) than the route above.

There's also an early route that I'm looking at doing myself, €53 in all.

I haven't heard anything from the FAI. I applied in time but the portal is still at the 'received' stage. Will get in touch with them.

Wednesday 16/10/19

Geneva- Manchester (EasyJet)
14:55 - 15:35 €91

Manchester - Dublin (Ryanair)
17:35 - 18:40 €16

Bit more expensive but you wont have to be up at the crack of Dawn, The total travel time is under 4 hours, back in Dublin at a reasonable time and the layover time is good too.

Very early train so. I found the SBB website terrible to use.  Try trainline.com  found return ticket there cheaper than what was coming up on the SBB site and they sent a proper SBB pdf ticket.
