Didn't really expect him to play today. It will take him a while before he gets a run of games together. Allardyce will be careful with him I'd say.

Perhaps. Also more likely to get niggling injuries at the moment, wouldn't be surprised if there's a tight hamstring or something.

That Arsenal team looks strong. Fancy them to smash Everton

Muscle injury. Not ideal, but I’ll take it over something more complicated

He'll face plenty of muscle injuries in the next year or two unfortunately. Part and parcel of leg break recovery

Hopefully nothing more than a niggling injury from being out of the game so long

Seems it's a thigh muscle injury, for which he is due to have a scan tomorrow. Nothing overly serious, but you can understand Everton being cautious.

It’s the knock on effect of a major break that you worry about. Hopefully this niggle is the end of it ..

Out for about two weeks seems to be the reckoning from the Everton forum.

Back in the Everton starting line-up today for the match with Burnley.

Hendrick and Ward start for Burnley, with Long on the bench.

Smart flick on from Coleman, converted by Tosun. Seamus is back

Brilliant defensive header at the death to preserve Everton's lead over Newcastle.
We're decent enough..
