That's his tally for the season up to 3 albeit all league cup goals. |

Here are the goals - defending for the first one was comedy, but second one is nice, not unlike McGeady in Tblisi last time out:

Excellent goal by Hogan, brilliant movemenT but McGeady's was world class with both feet. No comparison imo.

That is who I was thinking of, never heard of the wrestler to be honest. That second one was a lovely goal. Apparently he had a couple of other chances before he scored the first one too. Let's just hope he stays fit.

Watching the highlights and he also headed one against the crossbar before his first goal : he definitely had a good game.

Was at the game. He certainly had a decent game but the Latics weren't exactly a challenge. Still, won't do him any harm.

Yeah, he probably needs to start banging in a few in the Championship now. Scoring against Wigan and Colchester in the Cup is okayish but not earth shattering.

He's more than capable if he stays fit. Will be interesting to see Bruce's team selection on Friday given Hourihane's hat-trick on Saturday, a fine full debut from young Davis and Hogan's brace tonight. |
