What’s the story when these coonts go on strike? I’ll be returning from Spain Friday week when they are planning a strike?

If your plane is based in Dublin, you'll be grand. Just cos Spanish cabin crew are going on strike doesn't mean Dublin based aircraft will be affected.

If the airport you are flying from isn't listed there, you'll be fine. Even if it is, you might still be fine, as the plane you are on could well be a Dublin based plane.

I think it's likely to be a Spanish based plane, unfortunately.

With the possible strike coming up next Friday ,is it worth my while to get travel insurance? Or is it Ryanair’s duty to compensate regardless...

Most travel insurance doesn't tend to cover strikes, and I seriously doubt any will cover strikes if you buy it after the strikes have already been announced. It tends to be in the small print of the insurance but I doubt you'll get cover now.
