Who is that co commentating on Virgin Media 2? Some accents shouldn't be allowed on tv. Must be some sort of a crime inflicting that on us.

Is that who it is. Who thought he would sound good on tv. Kiernan Tierney Landon Dykes. A experiment that should never have happened.

Terrible result for us tonight. A win against Scotland is very important now. We need to be one of the best 3rd placed teams to be in with a chance of a playoff. Results against bottom team in group will likely be discounted due to Russia not being included in one group. Therefore a win against Scotland is arguably more important than a win against Armenia. Especially if Armenia lose at the weekend. Obviously winning both games is the aim. Hopefully Scotland don’t win against Ukraine away and we pip them to 2nd

It will be tough going beating Scotland in Hampden if they put in a similar performance to this.

Scotland much improved from the summer. That said Ukrainian marking from set pieces has been shocking.

Ukraine have been shocking tonight. Scotland for us away is always going to be tough but there's 2 goals there tonight that are free headers from corners.

It's ifs and buts. Ukraine are muck this evening, but Scotland weren't exactly firing against us.
Not saying we'll lose to Scotland. A win away just seems like a tall order.

have to laugh at the doom and gloom merchants . We won’t beat Scotland blah blah blah . We beat them 3-0 few months ago. And if we lose to them we deserve to finish third

Hardly Doom and gloom. Pragmatism. We didn't beat a Scotland that played as well as tonight. They might be muck again come Saturday. The point is specificity. If...they...play...as...well....on...Saturday...as...they...did...tonight... we...will...struggle...to...beat...them. Hand on heart, after the Armenia/Ukraine shockers, who saw the Scotland win coming. Unfortunately, Ireland are at a point where you dont really know which Ireland is going to turn up.

For a man who scores f*ck all at club level, McGinn is some man for popping up with goals for Scotland. 14 in 49, I think? If we had a midfielder who looked like coming close to those kinds of goal contributions we'd be sucking diesel.
