65 mins, 2-0 down, zero shots on target, only having a quarter of the possession. No plan B... team is in free fall...

Can't see him managing come the weekend

Will surely be curtains for Mick if they lose again today. Will be eight loses in a row and possibly five games without scoring too.

McGuinness gave away the penalty which was a shocking decision from the ref. Never a penalty in a million years.

Does this mean Cardiff will appoint Roy Keane now?
Pied Piper to: Baldrick, Brendan 88, 9Fingers, Borussia and more...

97.6% chance this post will be replied to by Baldrick (source: PWC)

Pretty sure he was the last Irish manager in the EPL or EFL after Hughtons sacking earlier.

A club record run of defeats - hard to argue with the decision really. Difficult to see where he goes from here - would a lower league team hire him for a cut price Allardyce type salvage job? If not it's probably retirement and punditry work left for him now.

Mick is one of the good guys, an absolute gent and great servant to Irish football as captain and manager. Unless he is utterly disillusioned with with the game, I hope he finds another job soon.

Would you be arsed at this stage. Games moved on for him to manage in higher leagues. League one maybe. Probably no transfer funds. A beach with cocktail in hand awaits I'd day.

Given the money he's made in the last two years he'll probably take it easy for awhile and make a few quid doing punditry work. Unless Barnsley feel like the hometown lad can work some magic there.

Id imagine he will work again. Maybe in L1. He dosent strike me as the type to just sit around all day. All of these managers need to be working. Not for financial reasons but they just seem to have a need to be out on the pitch.

Have any of ye ever seen Mick as a pundit?

He is absolutely abysmal!!!!!

I could see a a side struggling to stay up in Championship bring him in to do a salvage gig short term.

To paraphrase quote from Pulp Fiction... "He's got personality and personality goes a long way"

Incidentally, majority of co-coms are sh!te. He'll get snapped up.
