Eric Bailly, Telles, Matic and Martial in the same team. Hard to be surprised the performance was poor last night when those misfits are in the team. They would be lucky to get in the West Ham second team themselves. Hard to have any expectations for this Man Utd squad when they're still carrying passengers like them.

Rubbish, four experienced internationals who cost around £140m in total the four of them. Didn't see the game but from the brief highlights i did see, West Ham missed a few big chances to make the win more comfortable.

United about to embark on an incredibly tough run of games. It's not out of the question that Solskjaer will be gone by the end of November.

At club level you can buy and sell players means that you can have instant success, while also building for the future. So one doesnt have to be overlooked for the other like it might be at international level. Truth is, OGS has every advantage going for him. Hundreds of millions spent, a clatter of legacy players who cost a king's ransomloans returning better than when they left, and even Fergie's apparent intervention to ensure Ronaldo went to Man U, which meant one of football's most world class and professional players joined his squad. Over the past ten days, three defeats, and one last minute win is the current return. How he manages this squad of players is crucial to it actually succeeding, and too often it seems not to work.

He still has no midfield. Pogba being accommodated out on the left yesterday. Gave no protection to Shaw and Dalot. Matty Cash and John McGinn were burning the left side of United’s defence all day with their pace.

Surely Sancho or Lingard make more sense out there. Its worth reading OGS's comments after the game. He seems to struggle with responsibility for losing games, and always seems to have some 'turning point' ready for post match comments.

Agreed. If Sancho was there Cash would not have been bombing forward all the time. He probably knows Pogba in space takes too many touches so he would have a chance to track him back even with a head start.

That’s the managers fault! He doesn’t seem to have a game plan, United rely on individual brilliance time and time again! How can any United fan still want Ole as manager?
