Fair play to him.
Good to see some loyalty still exists in the game.

Would be very surprised if De Gea left. Seems to be very settled in Manchester, is one of if not the most revered United players. Also a childhood Atletico fan which was one of the reasons that he hesitated signing previously. With Poch joining Real in the summer, he might bring Lloris with him to add more misery to a decimated Spurs team

I'm only asking as a bit of fun before anyone starts thinking that it could have any impact LOL

Id have to go for the both winning. I cant be happy to see UTD lose the FA cup final regardless of what any of the other lot do. Sure Liverpool will have 6 stars on their shirt but United only clawed back one on them under Fergie. The blame cant be laid at Joses door.

For Jose, last season was 2 cups, this season would be the better domestic cup to win and a better finish  in a more competitive league. So that would be trophies in all 2 seasons so far.

Still all an if

I wouldn't begrudge De Gea moving to Madrid, he deserves to play for a team competing to win all the big trophies.

Hope De Gea stays but he, like virtually any other player who can get a big move, owes the club nothing and i wouldn't begrudge him going
No thank you Turkish......I'm sweet enough

He can earn big money at Utd but if he wants to challenge for the Champions league regularly he needs to go to Real.

I’m not sure where the Lloris rumours came from.
De Gea is 4 years younger and is better.

I'd be happier with Romero than Lloris. Used to be a fan of Hugo but he's gone to the dogs altogether. You couldn't trust him in anyway near the level of DDG

De Gea's going nowhere...

Red and black hooped kit is 100% (even the socks are red and black hoops) and the third kit will be made from recycled plastic - in support of the Oceans Campaign by the EPL - and will be navy blue with gold trimmings.

Good season by United. Fantastic improvement on all other seasons post-Ferguson. United look really strong, especially at home for 95% of games and have turned OT into somewhat of a fortress again. Though the defeat to WBA was a disappointment on that front. Aside from that, almost perfect at home.

Hopefully win an FA Cup and finish second. We've come on leaps and bounds under Mourinho.

Squad is still very messy though. Need to sell in the summer... Create a more intimate squad in my opinion.

We'll push on and improve again next season - no doubt about it. But whether we can win the EPL or not is also down to how City perform... if they repeat this season, then there's not an awful lot United can do about it.As I mentioned in my preview at the start of the campaign - they're just a few years ahead of us in terms of their overall planning. We've ben a mess over the past five years. Despite that Jose's doing a stellar job. Can't wait to see who he sells in the summer ... one or two additions needed, six sales needed. Ideally I would love us to sign a full-back who can play both sides. Maybe two full-backs. It's mostly what the team is lacking..that width that Mourinho teams of the past have always had from their full-backs. That's the one obvious area to improve. We also need a replacement for Carrick. The one biggest disappointment I'm sure Mourinho has had since coming in is Carrick's illness and injuries. He couldn't have predicted them and I'm pretty sure he wanted Carrick to be central to his plans..but it's not going to be the case at all now and Jose will have to find a great playmaker.

Steadily building. Let's try to get back to the top asap. But you gotta give credit where credit is due...City have been unstoppable this season. Fair play.

Full backs who can play both sides? Would you not want full backs who are specialised on their side. You'll end up with 2 more Darmians or Blinds in the team rather than two starting, strong full backs at their position.

Id question whether a 35 year old was "central" to Mourinhos plans when he took over at United. If he was, not much in the way of long term planning going on.

Have they not a LB in Shaw who is a certainty to go on and become one of the greatest full backs in United and the England national teams history? Also, have they not got in Valencia one of the top full backs on the planet? Why the need for so many full backs?

There's no need to question it. It simply was never the case. The midfield area is one that Mourinho has made a total shambles of since he's been at the club. 2 years there and not even close to fixing the glaring problems in there.

Yeah Carrick was never the answer. Very odd comment.

I do think Man U need to find a central playmaker.
Somebody like Eriksen would be great for them.

They also need 2 young fullbacks - young and Valencia are both 33/34

They will sell 5/6 in the summer but don’t need to bring in that many. The squad is already bloated.

Does everything you post have to be antagonistic and repetitive?

I just find it interesting how the rhetoric around the likes of Shaw and Valencia was of proper greatness not so long ago, and that it was almost certain to be achieved by said players. Now it's a situation of those positions are huge problems at United and those players just need to be discarded. That is some u-turn tbf.

Alderweireld to United is being rumoured for next season.

Also the game today, Arsenal without Mustafi, Koscienly, Ramsey, Wilshere, Ozil and Lacazette. United should be able to beat them today
