Alright lads im making to big move to London to the girlfriend in September and I am kind of nervous about it.
Could anyone explain roughly how much council tax I will have to pay for a 2 bedroom apartment in North Finchley , im living with 2 students and they are exempt from the charge. I'm seeing figures of over 2000 sterling popping up does this sound correct Thumbs Down.

Also I've no work lined up so any tips on places to start . Not looking to make a fortune ,just want to pay the rent and feed herself.

Any help would be great Beer

First things first, we need to see a pic - those are the rules...

As for council tax rates it depends on the Band (i.e. market value of the house).
Min is about £1K but you can pay up to £2.5K

Havent met her yet will send pics when im over Embarrassed

Ok, this just got interesting. Go on.....

Been chatting a while and im getting sick of my call centre job here in Cork so I said id make the big jump across the water. she seems nice

You'll have to keep us updated on this murph.
This actually deserves a thread of its own.

Bump

Whats the update lad???

Booked a one way flight over from Cork for the 14th of September .. 16.99 is all it cost Cool although it will probably end up being the most expensive 16.99 I will ever spend .

Letting agent is looking for my bank statements for 3 months also .... they are littered with gambling Exclamation , will this be an issue do ye think ?

there's plenty of crooked landlords knocking about if you have any issues with the agent.

Another restaurant to add. With a caveat. Its not cheap.

Gaucho in Moorgate. Class cocktails, brilliant staff and the best steak ive ever had.
