5 is currently the max allowed enter from 1 country. So if Liverpool won the CL, and Chelsea finish 4th, all 5 teams including Chelsea and Liverpool would be in the CL next season. The only way a 4th place finishing Chelsea could miss out is if Liverpool won the CL, Arsenal had won the EL, so those 2 would go in with the top 3 teams in the PL.

Is the right answer.

Sure there were five English teams in the CL this year because United won the EL last year and didn't finish in the top four.

That was the old rule. The new one is all 5 qualify for the group stage, should Liverpool win it and finish 5th in the league.

That's what UEFA have said this week.

Spurs missed out in 2011/2012 season when they finished 4th because Chelsea won the champions league after finishing 6th in the league
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Rules have changed since then, think it was 2 years ago, when they made it that 5 teams max from any country can now be in the CL. Also I think it's next season where the PL top 4 along with the other top leagues top 4s, go straight into the CL group stage. Or it could be for the season after, not certain.

Thought this was worth posting in case anyone was there or seen any fan taken videos of the incident.

Salah breaks the record

32 goals in a 38 game season.
Beats Ronnie, Suarez and Shearers record of 31.

What a debut season.

Yeah, some amount of goals, not sure if any one them were penos or frees.

He should have had a peno too.
Absolute stonewall peno in front of the referee too.

When people say fixture lists don't matter, the run in and last day games  usually prove them wrong. Brighton at home, looked to be and was, significantly easier for Liverpool to get the result the club needed on the last day, than e.g. Burnley away.

Liverpool are the only unbeaten side at home this season, and in a sign of how demanding the league is now, the first English side to reach the top 4 and European Cup Final since 2011.

Does Salah get the golden boot in Europe or has Messi more?

Would be an exciting signing no doubt but would it be worth it ? Not like they'd be getting another 5/6 years out of him a la VDS at United IMO .
