Have enjoyed a few of the ODIs and T20s in Malahide and Clontarf over the last few years. Looking forward to the test match, although I think I'll leave it until I see the weather forecast before buying a ticket.
Interest seems to have dropped quite a bit since that England game, always handy getting a ticket a couple of days before or paying on the gate.

Reckon there will be a bandwagon element to this and also the Pakistani lads will buy loads of tickets so could be worth purchasing in advance or through a club.

€30 a ticket first 3 days then, €10 last two days and the fifth day is pay on the day. A quite sensible pricing strategy imo

Was thinking about this, so bought myself a ticket for day 2 and another one for the mother for a Christmas present, she loves the game!

2019 World Cup Qualifiers, next month in Zimbabwe. All start at 7.30am Irish time. We are in the 5 team Group A.

Mar 4 v Holland
Mar 6 v Papua New Guinea
Mar 10 v West Indies
Mar 12 v UAE

If we get through those, we go into a Super Six league with the top teams from Group B to try and make next year's World Cup.

Sky are covering the tournament. They have a preview show this week and the game against the Windies will be live on March 10.

Irish Cricket have announced that they're going to build a stadium out in Abbotstown in the Sports Campus
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Should be expanding it instead of making it harder to qualify...Surprised they are building a new stadium...Was the stadium in Portmarnock not recently renovated. Take it it isn't big enough if the sport grows any more

Malahide. Yup they had an independent assessment done and a new stadium was recommended. Makes sense given the increase in matches they'll have now. Would have been unfair on Malahide CC and on the surrounding area. They'll also have a purpose built training centre out in Abbotstown as well

How the West Indies have fallen, they were one of the big guns not so long ago.

Not many sports in the world slimming down their World Cup!

Two warm up games before the qualifiers start.

The first game against the hosts of the tournament Zimbabwe was washed out. The second one was a 2 wicket win over Scotland. Chasing 240 to win, we got over the line on the last ball.

Onto Holland on Sunday at 7.30am.

That was way closer than it should have been.

Interesting game going on between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan, both have looked certs to win it at various points

edit - Zimbabwe win, Afghans had been second favourites I believe and have now lost 2/2

Ourselves, Zimbabwe and Scotland all won 2/2, albeit our NRR dropped considerably today
