I thought it was more of an opportunity to have a dig at Mickey Harte than anything.

Yeah, he was coming out with some random sh*t, such as - McGuinness doesn't make Donegal football all about him when he stepped down as manager the first time he just worked away in the background, whereas when Harte won his first all Ireland he wouldn't let go of the cup on the bus up the road Confused

Does anyone know why he hates Harte so much?

Downsized again? This has been the biggest disappointment ever since the initial reveal.

Didn’t think they’d be keeping any of the structure

asbestos will greatly add to cost and specifically programme

Did they not dismantle some of the Wc venues in Qatar - be cheaper to ship over and reassemble

See that new arena in Manchester as a salutary lesson

As much as Id love to have a great GAA Stadium in Irelands second city, I hope Casement happens in much smaller terms. As much as it’s a sh*thole, Clones is the capital of GAA in Ulster. If Casement does happen, it should be available to all Irish people, even those who don't realise they are, or want to Irish. Its just not suitable location or access wise to be a regional, open to all stadium.

Louth 5 Dublin 4. Could see one of those rare Leinster days where Dublin don't be arsed?

Nobody in croker again. They need to just build a 30k stadium in Kildare or Meath and play the Leinster semis and finals there. Wouldn't even fill it. Kildare probably the best central location and they badly need a new one. Plus I think Meath have a revamp on the way already.

Jimmy bests Derry, Tyrone and Armagh to win another Ulster title. Some feat.

I’m not sure if anybody has crunched the numbers, but it would appear that when you aggregate CP attendance figures for the Leinster Football Championship, in combination, it wouldn’t make up once capacity crowd of 82.5K

And that also factors in some of that attendance would have been at camogie or LFGA finals that were double headers. That championship has hit rock bottom. I wonder what year the total LFC attendance was this low.

What a day it was in clones yesterday the nerves were gone when it came to penalties. Think yesterday felt different for donegal supporters especially those of us that attended the games yesterday when we had hit rock bottom.

The turnaround in under 12 months will look like a surprise to most people but we had faith in these players and with jim in charge anything was possible they were 6/1 to win ulster before a ball was kicked which was big odds considering the majority of the squad played in an ulster final just 2 years ago against derry. Being in Division 2 stood to them too in a way as wasn't as much focus on them

The thing with mcguinness is focus will have already turned onto the all ireland series already he will have them back in training tomorrow night and he will want to lay another marker down by beating tyrone next weekend

*point to make before the all ireland series is Connor odonnell should be back fit for these games having been out injured all year. He will be a massive addition to the squad and a series weapon to use from the bench in these games
the closest i will ever come to playing for ireland https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0_7w4JyvI4

one of my best days ever following them as you say considering the low point last year. I was in Newry last year and I had a feeling that whole day how it was going to go. the turnaround is incredible.

Not only Conor O'Donnell but even Eoghan Bán Gallagher being back fit. He didn't have a huge impact yesterday but the fact he came through it and no injury is huge.

were you in the Diamond? No doubt Jim has his eyes on Sam

It was in ALDI car park. Some turn out! Was a great day. Ulster final day in clones is always so special. Still buzzing from it!
