they are so close to having this in a good state as a competition to be honest. do the draw once everyone's seeding is decided (i.e after the provincial finals). Don't bother with preliminary quarters, it's a nonsense - top 2 go through in each group, end of story.
I think that'd make for a great competition. It's a sickener from a Donegal POV having to face a team like Derry or Tyrone again after beating them already, but it is what it is. Winning Ulster would be huge for the group considering where we were last year, and I think it's the easier group as well than having to play Derry and one of Galway/Mayo. |
