This wasn't it at all, now was it ? Lad was fully fit but just not training well enough, not on it, not making the match day cut. Simple as that. Which given his ability, should be a formality at Hull, so it must have been other things.
| No training well, football by numbers, load of barry white. They want robots, not footballers. |
They ? Like Brighton who gave him chance after chance after chance at EPL until they paid him up just to please go away ? They like Rosenior who did the same until he washed his hands of him finally.
They want professionals buddy.
& they pay for that & reasonably expect it. & on that front for all his ability, he struggles. Because he's a fcuk head who pis sed it away.

You're delighting yourself at the prospect that an Irish player might not get a new contract? What a loser you are Connolly's goal scoring record this season has been excellent, he picked up a bad injury from a horrendous challenge midway through the season and didn't get back in the team after that. Now his manager has been sacked. Your delight at this as a so-called Ireland fan is pathetic

You're unbelievably naive if you think clubs giving a flying duck about young footballers, they are a commodity to be sold for profit if any use. If not get rid, and roll up the next lamb to the slaughter.

Jesus man, no one is delighting in anything. Its the opposite. Its complete frustration that a fella as talented as he is has pissed away a promising career to this point and is running out of options for the future. Connolly was brilliant when he broke onto scene 1st, hes shown flashes that its still in him. How can you be an Ireland fan and not be incredibly frustrated and annoyed that at 24 years old hes now looking for another "chance" rather than being a regular goal scorer at a top club. He showed he was potentially capable of that early. Now he'll be lucky if Plymouth offer him a year deal on a pay as you play

No. I'm pissed off his obvious talent won't amount to what it should have, particularly for Ireland.
I'm delighted a stones like you who can not see what he is is wrong.
And you're still in denial about it.

I haven't said they do & I don't think they do. Where did I say they did ??
Yes they're commodity to be sold. Big wisdom there.
What the fcuk has any of that got to do with Connolly blowing it again ?
They're incredibly well rewarded if they can just live & behave as professional athletes & Connolly can't. It's on him, this isn't the clubs or the system, or the nature of the industry, this is him getting the road from another club because of what he is off the field leading to him not being good enough to get in matchday squads. Again. Him.
But keep on bawling about something else which is irrelevant to this conversation there, by all means.

I wouldn’t discount the effect the concussion had. It was a big hit he took and it can take a few months for the mind to recover from it more so than the body.
