Jaysus, that's a bit harsh. Wasn't pretty viewing at times but we're joint second in the league. Results go out way on Friday and we could be three points off top. Bit of perspective badly needed.

Tis harsh alright. We made hard work of it but at the same time Dundalk didn’t manage a single shot on target.

Best Drogheda and it’s a good solid start to the season. Who would have thought so after
The Waterford game last week.

Saw more positives last night. Apart from the result, We looked organised and players looked on their game. Conditions were very hard
Breathed a sigh of relief to see a manager aswell who doesnt go cheerleading at the end of the win and lets the players take the applause

Another big three points gives us a nice tally,a tight game again didn't really get control after an early enough goal but the main thing is the win .We seem a bit better at the back though I know Drogheda had their moments and we could do with a good striker but overall am happy with the big effort from the team .

Just shows how important stringing a few wins together is. We were 7th a couple of weeks ago, now 2 points off top. Only conceding 1 goal in 3 games is very positive too.

Saw someone on Twitter giving out about using “Gold” when the teams come out and when a goal is scored and it got me thinking, when did “Bohemian like you” from the Vodafone ad stop being used?

Are the fans not loud enough to cheer on their own without music?

Just don't really see the point in goal music outside of Germany where it is a tradition. Nothing better than hearing a crowd going mad after a goal - Nothing worse than hearing it drowned out by music. Would happily have it ditched from Lansdowne (not really much of an issue with it in recent times!)

They do it in the Aviva too. The rugby loves it. Same in croker straight after a big win. I always wished they'd give it a little time to give the natural celebrations some time.
