Good result on Friday night, great crowd up too. Galway will tell a lot on Friday night, but pretty hopeful for the season.

Follow Bit of a surreal moment here in Drogheda as Dundalk owner Brian Ainscough appeared to be rowing with a couple of home supporters for a minute.
Drogheda steward had to tell Ainscough to calm down, who held his hand up to apologize.
Never seen anything like that at a game. Follow Very surreal indeed.
Ainscough, sitting in the main stand, called a Drogheda supporter a ‘baldy bastard’ or a ‘baldy bollocks.’ Couldn’t quite get a consensus on that one.
Neither particularly becoming of a club owner. |

Why were they rowing? They must have watched the Boat Race recently. Of course I'm an Oxford man myself.

10 games is a huge suspension for a player to get.

Was it not Fenian, as opposed to Irish? He said he didn't understand the meaning of the word after.

Let me get this straight.
Player playing for an Irish team, with Irish teammates, uses an anti-Irish slur against a referee? Okay.

I wonder what would happen if a Serbian footballer playing in a Bosnian or Albanian team called someone an ethnic slur in Bosnia or Albania. Probably wouldn't make it out of the stadium alive. People don't tend to just randomly be racist against Irish people either. If they have those views about Irish people you can be sure they have them about black people and other minorities as well, but I'm sure George knows what would and would not get him a severe pasting so is quiet as a mouse farting in church when he has any contretemps with solidly built young black men, like all the little cowards and bigots of his ilk. Yep, bizarre. Although, it's similar to fans who racially abuse opposition black players, while cheering on black players on their own team. There is no point trying to understand the ignorance of some people.
