Celtic should win it from here but still haven’t been good this season
Need to invest some proper money in the summer and stop buying low priced projects.
There’s the CL money should they win it, and likely that they’ll get good money for Matt O’Riley and there’s talk of a 40% sell on clause on Jeremie Frimpong
All that together with £70m odd cash sitting in the bank, surely they can do better than the likes of Holm Yang and Nawrocki

I certainly hope so.

The midfield huffed and puffed, better in the second-half. O’ Riley was absent for quite a lot of the game but did well for the goal. Our wingers are abysmal, particularly Yang. Maeda’s a huge loss, obviously.

Kyogo did well for the goal but was coming deep to try and collect the ball, due to the lack of service once again. Idah should’ve scored twice, needs to do better with those chances, but kept a cool head again for the pen.

Overall, we need to improve quite a bit to make sure we don’t get caught out in the league. The Huns are f**king gash but we continue with our ‘not a 90min team’ sh*t and our defence is constantly suspect.

Agree with most of that. Although I've been critical of Scales lately I think hes getting harshly done for them two goals. Taylor gives him zero cover, in the totally wrong position for a full back defending a cross from the opposite side. A horrendous player. Also as you say AJ needs to stop the cross, especially for the third. Hart also seems to have escaped any scrutiny due to his penalty  shenanigans. He could easily have come for their last two goals, the third especially looked to be nodded in from two yards inside the six yard box.

The midfield three were non existent, McGregor looked miles off it again. A big risk to play him in the run in. Hatate started to come into it in the second half.

That performance is typical of our season, performing in patches. I wouldnt be surprised if we threw the league away from this position as think we have a stinker of a result left in us.  Was said during the match on Sat 3 wins and 2 draws secures the league, when its put like that it should be achievable, but wouldnt be confident needing a win in the last game with our leaky defence and hit and miss attackers.

Wasnt that bothered initially when he missed last Saturday but Nawrocki performance didnt fill me with any great confidence. OK on the ball but looked vulnerable up against a bit of pace. Hard to judge these players when they are only making fleeting appearances. Wouldnt be shocked if Welsh came back in if Scales still out.

Chance tomorrow to get some minutes into both McGregor and Palma. Reports Maeda is out for the season

Not as bad as first feared now apparently. Whilst his final ball is shocking his work rate and endeavour would be welcome in the run in. Highlights how poor our other wingers have been when we're glad to see Maeda return, despite his glaring flaws.

This is great news, moreover given how abysmal Yang is (and Kuhn’s not a whole pile better).

Abada is supposed to be one of our 2 main wingers too

Yang was signed to develop in the squad this season with an eye to next term ,he's playing as there is no one else available

Shocking state of affairs but who foreseen the Israeli attack coming effing up Liels situation

Meanwhile Mikey Johnston is still tearing it up in the Championship. The Celts could certainly be doing with him now.

He's better than Yang but that's it

He evaporates in 'pressure cooker' type of games as we've seen around a dozen times over the years

Let him thrive in the English second tier

No current Celtic winger performs consistently! Jota was the last winger who performed well for them.

I like Johnston and didnt think letting him go was a good idea. Hes certainly no worse than the other wingers. None of them including Johnston made the jersey their own, hence the chopping and changing.

Maeda despite his patchy end product is the only one guaranteed to start when fit. Forrest now looking a more worthwhile option than some of the others.
