A Dutch oven or an Instant Pot will make your slow cooker redundant. You can hit higher heats which are good for thickening sauces and boiling off excess liquid. I find with too many sc recipes it requires adding a thickening agent at the end or else the meat comes out too wet. It does a job, but other items are better.

Wait a minute. There’s two types of Dutch ovens?

You see slow cooked on a menu all you are getting is reheated and normally cooked to death

you’d say wrong. Slices so easily and depending how long you cook it for (like any method you may use to cook meat) will dictate pinkness. I dont like it over cooked.
