The owner of the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas has filed a lawsuit against more than 1,000 victims of a mass shooting that killed 58 people in 2017.

Seem to be counter suing all the people who are suing them for liability. No money will be saught just stopping the original claims,seems to be a regular thing in US.
Crazy sh*t in America, how can they blame the hotel for a gun man going nuts in their hotel. |

This is the equivalent of raising a defence to an action. Counter suing would actually suggest that they are not only denying liability but actually suing the victims, so I dont really think there is anything to this apart from the normal course of litigation.

They're doing it in federal court as opposed to state court. It's basically forum shopping. They want the federal courts to decide the matter. Federal courts are more likely to side with them than the state courts.

You can see the red dot of the gunman's sight going onto the chest of the player in the red shirt just before the shooting starts. The gunman is being reported as a player who lost.Crazy country.
