The wording of the MFA statement I thought was strange, basically implying that Fridays game was the sole cause.
Facility’s getting worse in the country & nothing being done.

The pitch was cutting up very bad back in Feb when we played them to the point where warm ups had to take place off the pitch. Add in another two months of rain and multiple games per week and this is what you get. MFA are a disgrace

There has been very little local club games played in Turners Cross this season. The narrative that this is to blame is a joke. How it passed a pitch inspection Friday is amazing

I understand the MFA requested the game to be called off multiple times on Friday, right up to kick off and even again at half time. The pitch failed the MFA inspection.

So why then blame the MFA and local clubs surely the largest portion of the blame must be with LOI and Cork City.

No not at all. The MFA control the pitch and there were issues with the pitch long before Friday. When Ramblers played there at the start of the season, the goalmouths were more sand than grass.

Gavin Peers and Wayne Groves taking over at Longford, but it looks like no one told Peers. He has quit this morning

The great Frank 'Sniffer' O'Neill passed away yesterday morning after a long struggle with illness.
Arguably Cobh Ramblers greatest ever player. In fact there is no argument, he is the clubs greatest ever and by some distance too. Was lucky to have known him and called him a friend. RIP Legend

Kerry very hard to breakdown, happy out with that win. Four in a row, ten scored, one conceded.

Yes we can’t really have much complaints. We didn’t really create any significant chances during the match. Fell asleep for the first bray goal which was really well worked and finished. Daniel Okwute was a big absence tonight. Always risky when you play for a draw which i felt like we did.

Fair summary, you created very little while restricting us to very little, did feel that way - playing for a draw. Still, you were the best team I'd say we've played over last few games. Good to see after last season.

Good to see a bit of a buzz back at the Carlisle ground too, the difference from last year was night and day

Didn't see much of the game but bitterly disappointing to have a penalty to go one up and be one down a few mins later.
@Shamtheram, how's your keeper kit get away with being so close in colour to outfield kit? Good win for ye, nice way to start the long weekend!

Another stand is needed there. Very hard to see from that away end.

I don’t think Kerry handled the cork away tickets allocation well this week. No communication to the die hard fans who make the atmosphere. It was noticeable on the loitv stream.
