Aye well any chance Sligo did have was gone with them down to 14 men for the majority of the game. Never know if the game would have panned out differently if it hadnt been the case.

The great Tyrone team in the 00s were often pretty poor the year after winning Sam, I remember in '06 we beat them handy in Ulster and I think they had to have a replay to get past the first round of the qualifiers before going out to Laois. Maybe that trend is continuing. They've lost a lot from the panel this year strangely but Derry were full value. Some really brilliant footballers in that Derry panel and while I'm no fan of Rory Gallagher, if he gets everyone buying in like he seems to have in Derry, they're gonna be sticky. Would fancy Monaghan to have too much for them but you never know.

Tyrone will be hopeful for a handy draw in the qualifiers to get their heads right.

It was the same with the hurling v Limerick a few weeks back, Cork county board told everyone for weeks that it was sold out, tickets only available via clubs, clubs had to raffle tickets etc. By the time they realised there was tickets left over with 24 hours notice, people had made plans, same story today, only went on Ticketmaster today after people looking for tickets all week.

I'm not sure if they're deluded, or just want to pump the benefits of being members of clubs. Nonsense either way
