Paul Lambert admitted his players threw in the towel after Aston Villa set an unwanted piece of club history. Villa have now gone 10 hours and 12 minutes without scoring - the first time they have failed to score in six consecutive League games in their 141-year history - after the 5-0 reverse to Arsenal on Sunday. |

His new contract stated if it was terminated early he would get a maximum of 1years salary as a result. |
