I don't think the total population can be seen as a target market to be fair LOL
But sure the amount of families in Dublin who'd never be considered a target market because they'll play soccer, rugby , hockey, cricket or whatever but Dublin's total population was always given as justification for their huge funding. And it's not exactly made a big update in these people either.

Wouldn't Antrim have at least 300k nationalists and they should be trying to make a dent in the unionist population. Plenty of protestants in other counties play.

Cuala are on of the best hurling clubs in the county if not the country and it’s right in the heartland of rugby and private school country.

Great game tonight KK beating Dublin by 2 points. The referee was very strict on steps all night especially early on and then allowed a KK player take about 8-10 steps at the death to set up the crucial goal for Kilkenny.

It's even worse in Fermanagh. Half the county is Protestant, the other half is under water

It would be throwing good money after bad. Successive Antrim county boards have made an absolute bollocks of what we do have. If we got our house in order then maybe.

I suppose the Limerick team of the 90’s did look like knackers, The Nash brothers Frankie Carroll, Ciarán Carey, Dave Clarke possibly a few others aswell.

Went down to Tipp v Waterford and the reffing was up there with the worst I've ever seen. A historically bad display.

Tipp were absolutely screwed, they did well to get the draw with so many key decisions wrongfully going the other way.

Waterford are absolutely sh*te, they won't get another point. I wonder if 3 will be enough to get them out because of Tipps terrible score difference as a result of the Limerick capitulation.  It very well could be. Though you'd fancy Clare and Limerick to go to town on this Waterford side too.
