Rodgers reveals Johnston out for up to 3 months with back injury. I'd say that's him ruled out for the September games.

French match is a write off but he's a big loss for the Dutch game.

Jinxedy Johnston. Seriously though, he will be a big miss for the September games especially given the three day turnaround between games vs the French and then the Dutch, we really want/need all our players fit and available.

This is Johnston's career in a nutshell. A few good games, makes a real impact and then injured for months. Will probably always be the way with him sadly.

sh*t timing, back at Celtic under a new manager who previously showed he had a bit of time for him and he promptly gets injured again. Gutted for him!

To the surprise of absolutely no Celtic fan
He's simply an injury prone footballer and it's sad to see Luckily for him he managed to sign a long term contract recently that should keep him ticking until it ends |

How does he not get a game for Celtic they’re sh*te.
New Zealand probably better than most of the teams they play against in the SPL.

I thought he was excellent and a real joy to watch. It's not always going to come off for him and he will lose the ball, get intercepted but at least he's trying to entertain and make things happen.
I really enjoyed watching him tonight. |

He'd surely be better than James Forrest to come off the bench at least against Livingston or St Mirren.
What's Rodgers issue with him, does he not track back enough?
