Watched Lawal play for Fleetwood against my team Charlton on Saturday, was poor, managed to lose the ball on quite a few occasions, we know he is strong, has pace, played midfield, not impressed overall.

Conor Coventry is playing very well, Charlton have changed into a long ball team, which involves a lot of tackling and closing down and great stamina is required, having to adapt from a ball playing team to what we are producing, he is doing very well.

Basically the ball is bypassing him the whole game then!

Is this game available to watch somewhere.

I'm assuming not

Lineup probably as expected: Keeley; Curtis, Lawal, McNulty, Adaramola; Healy, Hodge; Vata, Moran, Springett; Armstrong.

But disappointed to see Lawal playing at the back instead of midfield.

No surprise there, he was softening everyone up during the week when he said "many of the teams interested in signing him see him as a centre back". Crawford does not take any risks, ever.
We're decent enough..

Should of played another CB and put Lawal in Healy's place. Fine for tonight but against decent opposition Lawal should not be a CB.

Otherwise solid line up.

Tough watch. Irish team with lack of ideas in final third shocker.

Really really poor, created nothing really, and poor set pieces considering we have had 8 corners

Curtis & Healy have been poor with sloppy passing & over-hit crosses.

Hodge probably our best player. Good move with him & Moran for the goal. Need to get Moran on the ball a lot more, he's been quite, though created the only other clear chance with the cross.

Lawal should be in midfield. It's amazing how Crawford can get such a simple decision wrong.

6 months or so without international football and it's only taken 45 mins of the u21s to remind me of how frustrating it is. A performance very reminiscent of our senior team. Hard to pick out any major pluses from that half but Hodge probably our best performer so far.
