Our back six are excellent. Really comfortable on the ball. Very impressed with O'Shea's distribution.

Parrott seems to have hickeys on his neck every single time I watch him play for us.

Like what I've seen thus far.. Team is very lively, and looks dangerous on the counter.

we’ve played well, stupid yellow for Cullen , but I’d be a bit concerned nothing seems to be sticking with parrot or obafemi, parrot in particular has given it away five or six times cheaply. Other than that it’s an even game, the Scot’s look more likely but we defended really well and the goal was a beaut
No Pasaran!

Obafemi and Parrott are putting in a shift I respect it. Doherty good so far doesn't look rusty. CBs good. Midfield very energetic.

Cullen needs to chill not sure we can afford to take him out as he is so important and the lack of quality options in CM but he is on thin ice.

An excellent first half. Obafemi looks like he has a goal in him as thus opend up with Scotland having to come onto us the longer we stay ahead. Back 3 absolutely top class. Cullen superb but lucky to stay on. McClean and Doherty very good, lots of energy and offering a good out ball. Only slight negative is Parrot who is working hard and showing flashes but maybe just not doing enough overall. Keep this up we win easy

Walters coming back from an offside position but Shane Long was definitely onside- Shane Lonnggggggg.... has done it!!!!

yeah agreed, we've had some really good moments but not really managed to build with consistent possession. I think if we get a hold of the ball and dominate for a 5 minute period we'll score, feels like when we get a hold of it we're more threatening.

Scotland are all fart no sh*te but at the same time if we don't get some sustained control I can't see us keeping them out

Good first half, everybody doing their jobs and playing well. John Egan probably MOTM at this point.

the team looks far more fluid without passengers like hourihane and hendrick.

the only weak link in this team is mclean. we have been class otherwise.

Don’t think the second foul warranted a yellow
Every foul doesn’t have to be a card

Very good half some neat football played
Bit of bite to the match

Very good goal separating two very even teams. Still smells like a 1-1 scoreline to me.

We will have to take Cullen off. Going down to 10 men would terminal. Hendrick maybe

I think I'd also be looking at Ogbene for Obafemi after 15 minutes of seco d half

Very enjoyable Irish performance so far.

That said, Knight has struggled to get into the game and Cullen is very lucky not to be sent off right at the end of that half for a second yellow.

I think Cullen was booked for kicking the ball away. He should know better there.
