A great draw trip-wise. Qualifying, not so much.

How often have France played outside Paris for qualifiers  ? I'm still presuming it'll be there but you never no given the upgrade to Stadia for Euro 2016
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Greece is actually nasty 4th team to get. I agree that the North got a better draw than us despite being 5th seeds. But it's unlikely they qualify either.

That was salt into the wounds. Was cheering that we avoided them.

Grow up. This is a difficult draw for any manager in charge of Ireland throughout the years. We've had no luck here
Here we go about luck again.  We made our own luck by our awful results that got us in Pot 3.

Our results have been awful for years now, once France and England fell into pot 2 this was always likely.

The draw was not kind. The North were 5th seed and they got an easier group

[QUOTE=You Tell Me]Some very lopsided groups here. Which impacts us badly in terms of any remaining playoff hopes.[/QUOTE

Precisely, there are teams in Pot 4 and Pot 5 that have got better draws than us e.g. The North!
