That sounds crazy. Walked through the streets for a f**king flare
It would damage this forums' reputation

So the so called fan Liaison officer said “Do the crime do the time” when asked for help, Stood there for an hour or so laughing with other guys in suits and pointing over at fans arrested, and then when police officers realised they were arresting fans they said “I can’t believe this, crazy guys in suits making us arrest you”. Something really stinks here.

I would think nothing more will come from this when they pretty much got rid of a lad as soon as he asked to contact the Irish embassy and then took 50€ off him in comparison to 1000€ off the other 3 lads.

When has this FLO liased with fans? Why is Joe McGlue (not a popular figure from JD's reign) in this position?

That is genuinely the last thing that needs to happen. Mcglue will spin that whatever way suits him and he’s a very ‘respectable chief of security’ since his father handed him the reins back in the 90s.

The pressure needs to go to the top. The current hierarchy are clueless and it needs to be those that any disdain is aimed at. An explanation needs to be forthcoming not only for last weeks debacle but for why he has been kept on after being the catalyst for the Delaney regime and the collapse of the Association.

Well if Brexit didn't happen they'd be able to recruit as they've done before from EU countries. A €25k salary is a good wedge for somebody working out of a base in Romania, Poland or even Spain. So yes Brexit is at fault here. Now they'll either have to reduce their network and raise ticket prices to cover the additional costs..which means less choice and more cost for the consumer. In the meantime there'll be cancellations.

but here is the salient point £25k is not a decent salary for those coming to live somewhere like luton as ultimately thats what ryanair and the low cost airlines do, they hire in romania and base here - that doesnt sit right with me, they should be hiring at the going rate in the country of hire and we know the airlines circumvent that - they low cost ones do anyway

T, as you know this line of work you know very well , but how  can you prove that you took 2 grand out of a ATM just to cover your bill at the local hooker  joint or gambling deats or what ever . How can a solicitor prove you didn't ?

What the f**k are you on about?? I’d say the multiple witnesses, fans that visited the police station to try help along with the embassy being contacted will prove that. That’s multiple times you’ve come on here implying the story is fabricated. The embassy have now been contacted for assistance with what happened.

My question is , how do you prove it . You said they took the money out as € 750 out of one card and the rest with other cards . Now I may be getting  on a it but how many young lads have bank details in 4 or 5 banks to withdraw 2k? Nothing adds up for me . Did all 3 lads have a withdraws limit of 750 euro in 3 banks , and have the funds to withdraw that amount . These are just questions nothing more .
Questions , are any of the lads of the lads on this forum
Have they been In In touch with the the powers that be
Have the newspapers printed anything
