Is there really any need to be so thrifty with the substitutions?

Don’t want to take away from a well worked goal but ffs I agree. They were like foosball players

Most goals come from defensive error or bad positioning. How many times have we seen our players lack the final pass over the years.

It reminded me of the soccer scenes in American TV shows like The Wonder Years or The Sopranos, though.

For all the talk of Duffys turn around in form, Hendrick since the Portugal game has been a player reborn for us. I cant remember him ever having 5 rock solid games in a row for us.

When you back a player, this is what you get. When you tell him you don't trust him to have the ball, well you know the rest. We have been excellent. Jeff has been terrific

About time we had a striker actually show some prowess for scoring rather than running around and putting in a good shift without scoring. It wears thin after a while.

Get CR7 through the middle every time 👏

Qatar have been utterly woeful but we look like a well organised outfit. Particularly enjoying the Ogbene-Robinson interchanging of positions.
Walters coming back from an offside position but Shane Long was definitely onside- Shane Lonnggggggg.... has done it!!!!
