Think the tide is starting to turn for Kenny, robbed of a win against Portugal when Connolly somehow wasn't awarded a stone wall peno and now 2 really good performances on top of that, more experience for the young lads and a feel good factor to take into the last 2 games. You must be blind if you can't see the progress this team is making and Ireland are playing some good stuff to top it off.

great performance. You can say Qatar were poor but we set the tone from the start. You can see the confidence growing.

You would find it difficult to pick a player that played poorly. Entire team played well. Qatar were poor but we were outstanding either way.

Even Christie has had some great runs and touches tonight.

Is Connolly the only outfield player not to get any minutes now?

Jeffrey is like a new player
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Omobamidele really comfortable bringing the ball out. In general, but especially tonight. Good to see someone who looks ready-made to step into O'Shea's shoes in that regard.
