Three wins for the three lads.

Tiny sample size, but 2 goals & 2 assists in 174mins in the league (1.93 games) is a pretty good start, eh.

I'd say he's nailed on to start vs Leicester next week.

I think Wellbeck will be given a go now. Not a knock on Evan but they will bring him on slowly but surely and not give him too much of a workload. Just opinion obviously I won't complain if he does start. Wellbeck is only just back fit but just think it is the smart thing to do.

Ferguson has more goals and assists than Welbeck in a lot less minutes this season, think it’s Fergusons spot as long as he keeps producing

Ya probably. They may rest him some games as hes just 18 and still adjusting i would imagine but Wellbeck wouldn't have the energy or workrate of Evan so i think hes number 1 as it stands.

They've the same number of goal contributions but yeah Ferguson has two league goals and Welbeck has one.

Ferguson is contributing and Brighton are winning so De Zerbi might want to keep a winning system going and also feel like he doesn't have to rush Welbeck back into the starting XI so soon. Maybe give Welbeck minutes off the bench again against Leicester and then start him in the cup.

Ferguson has 3gls/3ast from 7 apps. Welbeck 2 & 2 from 16 apps all comps.

At 18 they'll probably still want to rotate him in and out though. They may prefer Ferguson but still pick Welbeck or someone else some weeks, just to help a young player in the long run.

What height is he? He doesn't look 6'3 or 6'4 to me. That's Haaland territory.  Uses his body very well whatever he is. He looks like he just gets it instinctively.

He subbed him off after 65 minutes today! He’s managing him carefully I’m sure at some stage Welbeck will briefly get back in the team before the season is out!

On a side note Brighton getting into one of the consolation European competitions would be fantastic for us! More games to introduce and rotate players Moran Furlong and potentially Jamie Mullins now might all benefit from it!

I was hoping Ferguson would start today because it was Liverpool so it would be a big one. But I think I'm fairly neutral now hereafter once he gets decent game time I won't be disappointed if he doesn't start next time out. There are so many games and he is so young that he will be managed carefully but that will be balanced against how he has delivered goals and assists in the games he has played to ensure he'll get plenty. Playing with one striker like Brighton do means this will naturally occur and, as someone pointed out, there will be a lot of 60/30 splits between him and Welbeck.

Seen your comment and read though the pages to see what had been said and haven't got a clue what you're on about, what is pathetic or why people should be 'ashamed'?

Oh god here we go! His pressing and movement is causing complete carnage giving Mitoma and March acres of space! He hasn’t seen that much of the ball no but not every game will be plain sailing he’s just turned 18!

Mitoma was wasteful in the first half considering all the opportunities he got to manufacture something!
He had a reasonable first half. But "causing complete carnage"? Oh god, here we go is right.
