Tbf, it was a disgusting challenge that needs to be punished accordingly. He didn't even try to play the ball.

I wouldn't like to see that to happen to any player, let alone an Irish one.

Absolutely, it's just that Ferguson is likely to be critical to any hope we have of achieving anything any time soon, so Irish supporters are going to be concerned any time he picks up any sort of injury.

They won’t be rushing the lad back. I’m already taking it he’s out for the France game. For me the worry was he’d done damage or had a serious injury that could hamper his career.

Going by reports that doesn’t seem to be the case. That’s a victory for him and for us as far as I’m concerned. Anything else like getting him back for the France game is a bonus.

He will 100% be back for the France game barring another injury

So do we raze the Brazilian embassy or not? Maybe just break a small window.

Great to hear that he has recovered so quickly. I think some people freaked out because the tackle from behind looked so nasty, but he didn't actually look in that much distress when he left the pitch or after the game.

I have a source in Brighton. Evan is currently at home. Evan was earlier having lunch in a cafe near his home. Evan smiled a few times and may have laughed even. All signs are positive for now. Will report back when he turns the lights off and goes to bed, hopefully at a normal hour off 11pm

I hope he's fine but also hope he's is rested for this match even if he is able to play. Last thing we want is this lad playing with slight niggles at 18. They come back to haunt you at 28.
