Aye the managers son included. He can hardly say much about cannon when his own son has his feet in two camps.

Anybody got any info/background on Baranyai and/or Moorhouse?

Few lads I had in schoolboy football in the squad , delighted for them Clap There’s other lads involved who are not on that list.

Moorhouse is a central midfielder, born and bred in Manchester. Must have Irish lineage but haven’t heard about his eligibility before.

Hunter is a young goalkeeper who started off at Ballinamallard. He has played previously for NI at under-17 level so I was surprised to see his name here. Must have switched ?

Not necessarily, it's a training camp, so no change is needed
If he plays in the qualifiers in October, he will have to change his international allegiance

Neither does Darron Gibson, Marc Wilson, Gerry Taggart or Chris Baird. Centuries of two communities living side by side mean names often mean little in the north.

True ( though Baird was a “50/50”, as it is known, via parents). Hunter was spotted at Ballinamallard by Roy Carroll, who started and ended his goalkeeping career there. Carroll, who has never been renowned for enlightened or tolerant political views, pushed Hunter for the NI under-17s. So, as I say, surprised to see his name here, but who knows.

Neither does the name Jerry Adams when you think about it

I'm well aware being from North Donegal myself, thanks. It was more a question to GC as he often seems to have some insight into these lads from the North.
