Okagbue would have to be born after 1/1/04 to be eligible for these games. I see his DOB online as October 2003 but that must be a mistake? I'd imagine Vata is in the squad if fit. Adaramola is overage.

Vata is on the twitter graphic so probably just a mistake in forgetting to add his name on the article.

So Adaramola is 2003. Always had it in my mind he was 2004. John Clarke will likely start LB but surprised John Ryan wasn't brought as cover. Murphy plays CB for Newcastle and Mohan had him in midfield back in June where himself and Vaughan did well together. Naming five midfielders might mean Murphy is playing midfield again.

Any surprising omissions there? Owen Mason and Luke Pearce perhaps who seem quite highly rated? I was also under the impression Okagbue was overage so that may be a bit of a blunder.

Is Andy Moran out injured or something that he is not included?

He's overage for the Under 19s. Didn't make the Under 21s. Because the Under 21s is basically an under 23 competition at this stage of the campaign a lot of the 2002s and 2003s end up missing out on both squads, with 22 year olds like O'Connor, Coventry and Connolly still eligible to play. Under 19s is for 04s and 05s now.

Yeah, another 03.
Lads born in 03 are in limbo until the next 21's campaign kicks off, likely a whole year from now.
Seems mad but that's how it is.

Has Cian Coleman made any of the squads?

Especially if we qualify for the finals next summer as the 00 and 01 lads will still be in any training camps between now and then.

If we don't qualify it would be good if Crawford was able to do something in November otherwise it's friendlies in March with a training camp in the summer like last year possibly.

Yeah, he played in the two friendlies v Iceland back in June.
Omitted this time, for whatever reasons.

Think Rose might be overage? Deane could count himself a bit unlucky alright.
