Poor ref, doesnt even play the 2 minutes despite the Greeks rolling around. Ireland decent again without threatening often enough just like in the other games. Dunno why Umeh hasnt been given another chance since the first game, he looks a bit awkward at times, but he's dangerous. We should beat these if we show a bit more conviction. I believe I read half the team is 2005, it has shown physically at times across the 3 games. We have been the best footballing side of the 4 imo.

I’m impressed with Abankwah. Thought he was very rough around the edges for Pats anytime I see him play for them before the move.

Looking forward to seeing what Udinese do with him in the next year or two. It’s very encouraging he’s making the bench consistently every week.

He certainly hasn’t regressed for the move looks far more polished.
Beyond that it’s been a disappointing campaign performance wise even if we beat Greece and qualify for the last 8. I certainly wouldn’t fancy us going further if we did

Rolls Royce and I thought he was better at RB on Saturday, although tbf Curtis is excellent also so I can see why hes been moved back inside.

Would be annoying if Sean Moore doesn’t get on.

Didn’t see the last game now but I suspect if he played against Slovakia we wouldn’t have lost going by tonight. Just looks in 1st gear. Doubt it will be long before he’s with the 21s.

Can’t wait to see what Udinese do with him. He’s on the bench every week for them which is encouraging. No player close to his age bar Ferguson and Moran close getting on the bench regularly for top flight teams.

Unfortunately for him, he plays in the same position as our 2 "star" players Zefi and Vata, I'd have no problem if he came on for Zefi personally, although at the same time Zefi is the kind of lad who could bang one in the top corner to shut me up, he's a very frustrating player to watch because he has it all, but he'd prefer to beat a lad twice rather than beat him once and play the simple pass.

FFS, after bigging up Abankwah, typical! Mountain to climb now, need to go 4-4-2 and get support up to Lonergan.

What a disaster start and what a gift to give a toothless team who have barely kicked a ball.

Management at 19s level need changing every year consistently getting bad results even though the players are there. Woefull stuff.

Are the players there though? To me this group as a whole seem vastly overrated - I think maybe caused by quite a few of them being more visible in the LoI because they couldn't go to England and a few others maybe being overrated because of the novelty value of them going to big name Italian clubs. Hopefully one or two will come through, but a lot will fall away I think.

If they were in the youth setups at Stoke, Southampton and Derby like previous groups we probably wouldn't be hearing half as much about them.

Well they are dominating games, they just aren't killing the opposition off.

That would suggest to me that the talent is there but they are being poorly managed.
