Don’t think it’s mostly 2005s, there are a few in there alright. Fair play to Adam Deans. Was playing with Joeys in the DDSL this time last year. Released by Rovers and Bray in recent years and has clearly worked hard to get to where he is

No Kone-Doherty, which is a shame.  Is he injured?

Also, squad is mostly 2005 lads who won't be eligible for next season's U19's, right (mentioned above)?
So is as much a showcase for those lads for future U21 squads.

Played and scored in PL2 over the weekend there.

Possibly not being released since they're friendlies / unofficial games.

Louis Walsh and Terry Wogan. Not bad strength in goals.

He’s one who developed from a very average schoolboy player into obviously a very good prospect!
Luke Browne gone to Palace. Again he was a decent player at a younger age but no more!

No Elite Round for this squad in Spring now.
Was a tough group as it turned out, with Slovenia proving to be the sticky-wicket.
When they drew v Belgium, the writing was on the wall.

Is that it now for the 2005's at the U19 age-group?

Yup that's the 2005 age group now finished with the U19s. FAI should think about organizing a match for the 04/05 age groups next March.

Use it as a game for Crawford to have a look and see if any of the younger lads are worth taking on any training camps they have this summer.

Would prefer Crawford set up friendlies for the the U21s in March & June to keep that squad together and try out a few new players, & then someone else do a couple of U20s camps at the same time. Probably won't happen, but it should.

There's a load of talent in the 04/05 groups, & also lads in the 03 group that can't get in the U21s, that won't play in a Ireland shirt for years, if ever again. More than enough there to sustain an U20 squad beyond just 1 window.

You can always get the teams by googling “Flashscore mobile”, go to “Europe”, click on the match and you can get the line-ups, goalscorer, subs, etc.

Anyone know where I can find out the team that played today?
Flying so high, trying to remember
How many cigarettes did I bring along?
When I get down I'll jump in a taxi cab
Driving through London town, to cry you a song
